Styrene Maleic Anhydride is a low molecular weight co-polymer of Styrene & Maleic anhydride. Its main applications are :
- Floor polish.
- In paper industries for surface sizing, clear coating, as a cold set adhesive in machine coating & pigment coating.
- As a dispersing agent for pigments.
- As a modifier, as a protective colloid & as a plasticizer in latex paint.
- In printing inks both solvent & water based.
- In water based coating.
